The 16th Street facade and sitting deck are an excellent example of quality reuse of materials. The double paned glass is from discarded windows mostly aquired through the local branch of the organization Habitat for Humanity. The wood decking is all reused fence boards from various locations around San Diego. The steel was acquired locally and generally contains 92% recycled content.
